Bear with me while I get this blogger thing down. I am new at this format having only worked with Word press before. This is my first blog posting in my adventure through Judy Rehmel's book Key to 1000 quilt patterns. I am in need of a quick baby quilt and will be using #396 - the peekaboo block. I enlarged the block to be 36" with a 4" border to make this fast baby quilt.
I am armed with my measurements and am now off on a fabric search in my stash. 3 one yard pieces will be plenty. I also know this will be for a baby boy, so blues will be in order unless I find some truck prints in my stash and will go from there. The picture I have added is from EQ6, I am new to this also so I figured this would be a good excuse to get some practice there also.
Well I am off on a fabric hunt. Stay tuned for more on this quilt. If you are in need of a quick baby quilt, hunt down those 3 yards in your stash and play along with me. I am hoping to be finished with this project by Friday. The baby is due any day.
